In Bihar, The Lockdown Has Been Extended For A Week

In Bihar, the lockdown has been extended for a week. The decision comes after help from the Corona virus chain lockdown. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the lockdown would remain in force in the state till June 1. 

Nitish Kumar tweeted that a lockdown was imposed for three weeks on May 9, 2021 in view of Koro’s transition. The situation was reviewed again today with the cabinet and officials. The lockdown has had a good effect and Corona’s transition has been declining. In Bihar, it has been decided to implement lockdown for one week from May 8 or till June 1, 2021.

In Bihar, 107 people have died in the last three hours due to corona virus infection, while 2009 new cases have come to light. According to a bulletin released by the health department on Sunday, a total of nine people have died of the infection in the state so far, while 2,5,06 people have been confirmed infected.

So far, the number of infected people in Bihar has gone up to 2,3,8, out of which 2,8,6 patients have recovered. At present, 20,31 people are undergoing treatment in the state and the recovery rate is 7.5 per cent. In Bihar, 1,3,12 people were vaccinated against corona on Sunday.
