Thunderstorm moving towards Gujarat, 8 people dead in Karnataka-Kerala-Goa

South-western states are under threat of giant thunderstorm . After wreaking havoc in Kerala, Karnataka and Goa, it is now moving towards Gujarat. On the other hand, heavy rains are also expected in Mumbai. So far 8 people have died due to this storm. While many houses have been damaged.

Cyclone Toute is moving towards Mumbai at a speed of 18 km per hour. Toute storm is currently around 200 km from Mumbai and 400 km from Gujarat. To deal with the storm, 12 teams have been deployed in the entire Maharashtra including three NDRF teams in Mumbai.

Four people have died in Udupi, Chikkamagalur, Shivamogga and Uttara Kannada in Karnataka. These deaths have occurred in rain and storm accidents. A total of 98 villages in Karnataka are affected. Only 33 villages in Uttara Kannada are affected. Let us know that two people have also died in Kerala and Goa.

Due to this thunderstorm, heavy to very heavy rainfall can occur at the northern cost of Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra coast and parts of central Maharashtra. Whereas, light to moderate rains with isolated light rains may occur at isolated places over Kerala, interior Karnataka and southern coast of Karnataka.

In the wake of the alert, 1200 people have been evacuated from Junagadh in Gujarat to safer places. At the same time, Toute storm in Kerala, Karnataka and Goa in the south has caused great devastation. Home falls in Kerala and trees in Goa. Two people have died in Goa. Some people have died in Karnataka as well.
