Absconding sub-inspector to face action

The City police are contemplating action against sub-inspector B Dhananjaya, who has gone underground following cases registered against him by the Delhi police for allegedly raping and cheating a model.Since his transfer to the Cubbon Park traffic police station from the Indiranagar police station, Dhananjaya has not reported to work. Stating that unauthorised absence is an offence and not informing senior officers a misconduct, Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration) Harishekaran P said.
